Hi Emeline,

Our trip to Paris was phenomenal. I did not want to leave and I cannot wait to return. Thank you again for coordinating all our arrangements and also for recommending "Le Coude Fou" for my mother's birthday dinner. It was a wonderful experience all around. Please feel free to post my comments to the site.

The Bourg apartment was spacious, well located, comfortable, full of charm, and true to the photos on the web site. The street was lovely, clean, and dotted with not only a grocery store, but the quintessential artisan chocolate shops, restaurants and boutiques. As a mostly pedestrian neighborhood, the feel of the Marais turned out to be the perfect respite after a day out touring the city. Josie our greeter was as helpful as all the other guests had posted.

The phone service was a definite plus as we could make calls to the US for free and our internet access started up without a problem.

We watched the film "Moliere" while we were there. (I recommend renting it!) The story took place only a few years before the building was constructed (in 1663), and so the apartment became an extension of the movie set and we were catapulted back into time. Everything worked out well and we were grateful for the airport service arrangements.

Dear Pat,

I just wanted to tell you how pleased we were with our Bourg Tibourg apartment. It was squeeky clean and so well appointed--having a laptop and a phone where we could make all the local and international calls we wanted was an unexpected bonus which we truly appreciated. We would rerent in a heartbeat. The key keeper, Josie, was more than helpful --- she is wonderful! Available by cell phone for the few times I needed her help. You are fortunate to have such a cheerful, competent person in your employ. Please feel free to use this endorsement however you wish--I just don't care to post anything on the net.

Thanks again for all your help--Franck was terrific too---he didn't realize we had already made arrangements for the giving over of the keys and when I got home (having left the US well before the rental date) I found this urgent message from him saving he needed our flight number and time of arrival for Josie. It was so special for him to be so concerned. Again, your organization is to be commended and I assume any apartment (we might need a larger one next time) would be as wonderful as the one we rented.

I thought the experience was great from start to finish: The interactions making arrangements, the pick up at the airport, the connection at the apartment, the apartment itself all were very good. I particularly recommend the pickup at the airport for first time travelers.

Wonderfully located private apartment within walking distance or a short and easy Metro ride to every site in Paris.

Our children had a ball exploring the neighborhood and its many nice residents who were all helpful and kind to us non-French speaking guests. There is a wonderful restaurant next to the apartment and a large food store just across the street. We loved it and had a very good time.

Claude's assistant and our driver also made the stay easy and non-stressful.

I just wanted to thank you for a lovely stay in June at rue du Bourg Tibourg. I fell in love with the Marais immediately upon arrival. The flat was lovely: everything was clean and orderly. Josie was extremely helpful, both during my arrival and departure. The street was fabulous, the Franprix grocery store very convenient and all the restaurants and shops were wonderful. We definitely caught World Cup Fever!

I'm already looking forward to another visit next year.

Bonjour Claude,

I wanted to thank you for offering us such a great place to stay while in Paris. We had a fabulous time and part of that was due to the apartment, its location and convenience, and all of its appointments.

Josie was very helpful and our driver Jacques was very friendly. Both of them started and ended our trip on just the right notes. We ate downstairs at Kodo twice, once for dinner and once for brunch, and found the food delightful. Around the corner at Le Trois, the food was also very good. We dodged the raindrops and the riots, and had a fabulous time.

Just one bit of business: our cell phones didn't work there (even though I was told that mine would), and Josie said it was okay to use the apartment phone. We made some phone calls, so please account for those costs when you credit my account with the security deposit refund.

The apartment was a perfect place to experience "living in Paris." People constantly walked by at night and looked up and pointed at the apartment from the street view - it is amazing!
