My wife and I stayed at the Elysee Palace apartment this September for over a week.

Not only was the location excellent, the suite lived up to the photos and then some. The apartment was very clean and we were welcomed by the owner, who was most helpful. Do not be put off by what might be considered an expensive piece of accomodation.

If you were to rent a hotel room of this quality and size in this location it would cost 3 times as much. Having an excellent kitchen was a real benefit for those times when after touring all day you can open a bottle of wine and sink into a great baguette and some wonderful cheese and just stay in for the evening.

There is some first class dining in the immediate area,114 Fouberg at the Hotel Bristol comes readily to mind, and some good reasonalby priced bistros.

I would have to give this accomodation very high marks. This is what all of our rental experiences should be.
