Classic Paris home w/ private terrace

This quintessential french Paris apartment rental comes with a private outdoor terrace for dining, parquet floors, and rooms decorated with antiques and unique artworks.

The living room is in high color, like a flushed cheek, in shades of rose and cinnamon, and has parquet floors, oriental rugs, tapestry armchairs, overstuffed sofas, and fine antiques.

Its south-facing balcony, decorated with plants and furnished with a small table and chairs, is a quiet and private spot to take in the beauty of Paris rooftops. It gets especially quiet after 8:30pm and on Sundays when the street it overlooks is closed to non-resident pedestrian traffic.

The dining room can accommodate up to six guests. The room also has an antique wooden sideboard, curtained windows, an area rug, and scenes of Paris on the walls. Adjacent to the dining room is the fully equipped kitchen, with wood cabinets, white tile floors, and additional seating.

The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed and offers a workspace, side chair, bookshelves, and large area rug. French doors open onto a small balcony. Outside the bedroom is a modern bathroom with a tiled floor and walls, bathtub, shower, washbasin, and WC.

From the living room, a winding wooden staircase leads to the upper floor and the second bedroom, an annex for two. It has a desk and office chair and a king-sized bed that can be separated into two single beds. Note: the sleeping area is not closed.

Next to this bedroom is a second bathroom with tiled floor and walls, a bathtub, and a washbasin. An additional WC is located off the living room.

Discreet and quiet elegance

We thoroughly loved staying in this beautiful apartment. It is located on a charming pedestrian street and just a stone's throw from the Madeleine church and wonderful shopping. The apartment is extremely comfortable, decorated in beautiful colors and with lovely antiques. After busy days in Paris, it was heavenly to come back "home" to relax in the gracious surroundings. If I lived in Paris, I would want a place just like this. Emeline from Paris for Rent was a great person to work with. She responded to all of our needs in a friendly, professional way. The agency made all of the details very clear all along the way of the rental process. I can see why the travel experts rate it so highly. We will definitely return to Paris for Rent and the Madeleine apartment, perhaps others, in the future. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

“Gorgeous charming Flat in lovely upscale location close to the finest shopping in Paris”

This two bedroom flat was perfect for our family of four. The location on this private pedestrian street is absolutely beautiful. We loved everything about this rental and can't wait to visit again.

"Classic Upscale French apartment-Great location"

We immediately loved this 2 BR apt at Madeleine Pl. It is on a beautiful courtyard, massive entry door and a modern elevator to the 4th Fl. It is nicely furnished, very comfortable, and quiet. The kitchen is modern and well outfitted. We ended up cooking most of our meals because of the kitchen and dining space and easy access to great ingredients. My wife and I and two daughters, 24 and 17 spent 8 days over the Christmas holiday. Our courtyard was beautifully decorated with people often stopping to take photographs. The area has a concentration of all the high end clothing stores and two of the most famous food stores-Fauchon and Hediards. There is an outdoor market at Madeleine Pl and good restaurants nearby. We found that we walked to most of the visitor sites--we were quite centrally located. We found that buying museum passes was the smart move--no waiting in lines to get into the museums. We plan to return and hope to rent this same apartment.

Lounge and Cuisine

The living room offers seating for 4 guests and a large study desk. opens up to the private patio for outdoor dining.
The kitchen is fully equipped with stove top, dishwasher, large fridge and Nespresso machine. It opens to the master suite on one side and to the formal dining room on the other.

Bed and Bath

The master bedroom suite is spacious and offers a queen size bed, private desk with TV and a vanity corner. The master bathroom has a sink, shower over tub and separate WC.
The guest bedroom is up the spiral stair case and offers a queen size bed which can divide into 2 singles. The second bathroom is ensuite with sink, shower over tub and a washer/dryer combo.
There is a separate guest WC at the bottom of the stairs off the living room.

About Opéra-Vendôme

This is simply Paris as you imagine it: Wide avenues, designed by Baron Haussmann, showcase the opulence and luxury of the city. This area brings to your doorstep the high-end shopping area of rue du Faubourg St-Honoré, home to Paris' most prestigious couturiers and boutiques. The Place de la Madeleine and its famous Church, are home to cafés, florists and cheese shops of the Place. Also nearby is magnificent Opéra Garnier, department stores Galeries Lafayette and Le Printemps, place Vendôme, the Louvre Museum and Tuileries Gardens, and of course, the Seine River.
