Description
This exceptionally attractive and comfortable two bedroom flat is U shaped around a nice courtyard and has been nicely renovated and professionally decorated recently.
Original hardwood floors, rugs, large dining table, relaxing couch, chairs, TV set, telephone and fax machine, stereo/CD player furnished the large and inviting living-dining room. The kitchen area is separate but open to the living room. It is fully equipped with all new appliances including washer/dryer.

The windows overlook a garden once painted by Van Gogh and allow incredible views of Les Invalides and L'Arc de Triomphe in the distance.

See Paris as Van Gogh, Toulouse-Lautrec, Degas, Cézanne, Renoir, Satie, Picasso and many more saw it. As early as the 1860's, Montmartre, with its village-like charm, was once the haunt of many a famous artist. This is where Paris developed a reputation for bohemia and creativity. Montmartre is rich in history. Toulouse-Lautrec, in particular, immortalized Montmartre through his paintings of life in disreputable nightspots like the Bal du Moulin Rouge.
This apartment is located in a quaint and pleasant cobbled street in the heart of old Montmartre known for its views, its village atmosphere, Place du Tertre, still the rendez-vous of artists and the Sacré-Coeur basilica. "Le Consulat", very near the apartment, is one of the many restaurants still open in the area where Impressionists painters used to meet.
A few minutes away is a lively outdoor market open six days a week (rue Lepic), and a similar array of fine shops as well as many excellent small restaurants in the immediate area.
Metro Abbesses & Lamarck Caulaincourt, both a 5-7 minute walk from the apartment, will take you to Place de Concorde, Champs-Elysees, Musee d'Orsay or Saint-Germain des Pres within 7 - 10 minutes. Convenient public transportation to Gare du Nord and Charles de Gaulle airport.
