Saint Germain des Pres is widely held to be the cultural centre of Paris and it earns its reputation; it really has it all. There is a buzzing ambiance to this neighborhood with its fabulous architecture, fine boutiques and restaurants. Situated on the Rive Gauche, with its long history of decadent joie de vivre and cutting edge art, you are also within easy reach of museums and galleries, as many as even the most devoted art connoisseur could ever consume.

This traditional apartment sits on the first floor of a 19th century Haussman building. Spacious, elegant and refined, exquisite Italian furnishings meet antique Hungarian hardwood floors joined harmoniously by classic French style.

Light fills the living room through it’s large, planter-lined windows. The sofa stands before a divine Florentine marble coffee table and functioning fireplace, a feature of this lovely room. Furnished with 19th century antiques, including an Italian chandelier, Syrian candleholders and Louis XVI armchairs and mirrors, this room is an ode to quiet opulence.

The dining room assumes a Venetian style, an Italian chandelier hangs over 18th century dining chairs, their table is an iron and glass affair and is stunning in it’s beautifully crafted detail. Original paintings by a well known French artist hang opposite a lavish silk wall hanging.

High-end luxury and modern convenience are the theme of this well-appointed Kitchen. An oven, micro-wave, refrigerator, washer / dryer dishwasher and espresso machine sit on delicate marble mosaic tiles.

The master bedroom is a luxuriant and restful room; here you will find Rubelli curtains and sofa, a quality king-size bed and wonderfully soft, velvety carpeting.

Office / second bedroom This well lit room contains an expansive bookcase, desk and comfy queen size-bed.

The first bathroom has red marble all through. ‘Belle Époque’ period fixtures give this room a palatial elegance.

The second bathroom is mosaic-tiled throughout and features a stand-up shower and sink.
