With great views and location, this three bedroom, two bathroom, attic apartment offers comfort, quiet, and history. The unit’s many windows overlook either the building’s courtyard or Paris rooftops, protecting the apartment from the street noises of this bustling district. The history of this literary and antiquarian district is also a part of this 17th century apartment: in the 1620s it was the meeting place of the Musketeer d'Artagnan and his girlfriend Madame Bonacieux!

The apartment is on the 5th floor attic (just below the roof) of the building. An elevator takes you to the 4th floor then a 16-step staircase takes you to the entry door.

With exposed, original wooden ceiling beams, large alcove windows, and antique decorative fireplace, the main salon of this apartment is classically French. In the salon you will find two comfortable couches and many side chairs that sit before an alcove window. Bookshelves and a desk with antique chest provide a comfortable work or study space. The living room windows overlook rooftops towards the dome of the Panthéon.

The kitchen and dining areas are adjacent but distinct, and a glass wall separates the living room and kitchen. The glass dining table, which seats six, sits atop the apartment’s signature tile floors and is surrounded by antique furnishings. The kitchen is fully equipped and offers additional seating as well as ample counter and cabinet space.

The master bedroom supplies a queen-size bed with matching headboard, drapes, and textiles. The second bedroom has a king-size bed that can be converted into two singles. Both bedrooms have windows that open over a quiet courtyard. Both rooms also have a good westward view of the Eiffel Tower across Paris rooftops and enjoy lots of sunlight.

A third bedroom provides a single bed, bookshelves, and another workstation. This room has a window that opens directly on the roof, with a view of the Musée d'Orsay, and from a distance, the top of the Arc de Triomphe and La Défense business district.

Both bathrooms are designed with white tiled walls and floors. The master bedroom’s en suite bathroom has a bathtub with shower, washbasin, and WC. The second bathroom has a glass-door shower, washbasin, and WC.
