What our previous guests are saying about their stay:

Great location, wonderful apartment, a joyful, ten day stay.5

My husband and I recently rented this apartment and were more than pleased. The apartment was better than the description! It is bright, comfortable, has a modern kitchen with all necessary amenities, and the TV and WI-Fi work. We were totally pleased with the location which is convenient to much of what you might want to see. The metro is a short walk away to venture out to other parts of Paris. Shops and restaurants are close by and even with all that THE STREET IS QUIET. The only sounds were the lovely bells of near-by St. Suplice. The staff of Paris to Rent is superb---helpful, polite, and quick to answer questions. I would return to this address again, and I will absolutely deal with Paris to Rent again.

“Modern, well-equipped, incredible location, a taste of Paris”5

Reviewed October 07, 2014

Lovely apartment, well located in the 6th, with access to everything. Sleek, beautifully stocked (French coffee press, Nespresso machine, dishwasher, spice cabinet) kitchen with large, non-European refrigerator! Grocery stores nearby as well as bistros and cafes. Follow your nose to the neighborhood patisserie for warm, early morning croissants, baguettes and pains aux chocolats to have with your coffee. Be prepared for a real neighborhood experience including daily trash pick-up (noise), late night revelers leaving nearby bars (noise), produce deliveries to restaurants, and the motor scooter set (everyone). You'll hear the swishing of brooms before the sun comes up, as city workers and bistro owners sweep the sidewalks clean in preparation for the day. Life happens here. It's an energetic location. Bring ear plugs if you think this will bother you but don't use them until you've had a chance to hear it all. The Paris-For-Rent crew delivered on all of their promises, did so promptly and helped with issues that weren't in their scope of responsibility. We had some unrelated, unexpected challenges and they dove in with a much appreciated no-sweat, can-do attitude to help whenever asked. They answered off-hours emails rapidly which we didn't expect either. I refer to both the stateside representative and the local Parisian greeting staff. They were also available to speak on the phone at nearly any time. Paris rep carries a cell phone 24/7 to be available for guests emergencies and queries.

“I could not have loved it more!”5

Reviewed August 07, 2014

My husband and I took our 10 year old daughter to Paris in March 2104 for a week. I have a litany of dietary restrictions so love renting apartments so I have the freedom of my own kitchen and am not beholden to restaurants or to hotels with only a small fridge to store leftovers. The extra room afforded by vacation apartment rentals and the value for the money are wonderful bonuses we have come accustomed to, so we now always rent apartments when travelling. Our experience with Paris for Rent was really stellar. When deciding on an apartment to rent, Pat, the Paris for Rent rep, was beyond helpful. She went through all the options for availability the week we wanted to go, gave us an overview of the location of the apartments within Paris, the type and feel of the neighbourhood, the proximity to sites, even the proximity of grocery stores, and other specialty food stores, including stores which carry gluten free food. Pat was a wonderful source of helpful information because she knows Paris so well. I loved that she gave us not only practical information, but provided us with a really great overview of the energy and aesthetics of each neighbourhood which really made the decision of which apartment to rent very simple. We ended up with the Rue Mabillon apartment which I honestly could not have loved more. Renting was easy and seamless. The rental agreement and conditions were very clearly layed out for us. There were no surprises. The only VERY SMALL glitch in the entire experience was a communication issue when we arrived. The representative who was supposed to meet us upon arrival was not at the apartment at the arranged upon time. We called her cell phone several times and got voice mail. It took about an hour for the situation to get remedied and for someone to meet us at the apartment. She was detained at another apartment, which was totally understandable, but she should have called to let us know that she was detained. We were waiting outside of the apartment in the rain. I consider this a very minor glitch in an otherwise absolutely perfect experience, but more seamless communication in the future needs to be assured. Another representative was sent to the apartment to let us in and orient us. He was extremely affable and professional. He went over every minute detail of the apartment, which was very much appreciated. He even showed us which channels on the TV were English children's channels. He thought of everything. The apartment is GORGEOUS and even nicer than the pictures. It was also absolutely SPOTLESS. Our daughter slept on the futon couch and was absolutely comfortable. My husband and I slept on the bed in the bedroom and the bed and linens were extremely comfortable, and I am very picky about beds! The neighbourhood is very quiet, even in the evenings. Our sleep was never disturbed. The apartment has very narrow steep stairs so I would recommend it for families with children who are old enough to easily navigate steep stairs. The apartment is on a beautiful, quiet street in the Saint-Germain des Pres area of Paris, with the Saint Sulpice Church a stone's throw from the apartment and visible from the windows. The apartment is easy walking distance to most of the major sites or a very short cab ride. We walked almost everywhere. There are also grocery stores and bakeries a very short walk from the apartment. The apartment was fully stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen had tons of dishes and pots and pans etc. There was nothing lacking. The apartment also has two bathrooms, which was a really great bonus! The apartment is very tastefully decorated. Paris for Rent does not classify it as one of their luxury rentals, but it's pretty darn close in my mind - so pretty and so comfortable in an absolutely first rate neighbourhood. Checking out was very easy - leave the key and go. We also had Paris for Rent arrange for our ride to the airport, which was also seamless. The driver arrived early and was also extremely affable and professional. It was the nicest ride to the airport. I would rent from Paris for Rent again in a heartbeat. I would also stay in this apartment again in a heartbeat. None of us wanted to leave the apartment. We all loved it. It felt like home.

"All that is French..."5

From the moment of our welcome and orientation - this was a place to call home for our 10 day stay. Very little need for the Metro as walking to the major sights is easy. The open air markets on Rue de Raspail provided delicious ingredients for cooking back at the apartment. We didn't want to leave and now spend our time back home looking for our own apartment to buy in this area.

"Superb, peaceful apt in the heart of the Sixth"5

Reviewed May 26, 2013

My wife & I spent a week in this lovely, peaceful apartment in the heart of St. Germain. It's a minuscule walk from the shopping & dining that make the Sixth so special, and central to almost all of Paris if you're a walker (we certainly are walkers ... and in a week of great weather, we roamed all over town from this home base, taking zero metro rides and fewer than five cab rides). The apartment is spacious, homey, and comfortable, with washer/dryer and a full kitchen. Also, Paris For Rent thoroughly delighted us as operators. They arranged a very reasonably-priced ride in from the airport, had a great local contact person who gave us an extremely thorough orientation to the apartment & the neighborhood, arranged some wonderful dinner reservations for us in advance of our trip, and when we had questions during the visit, someone always responded swiftly & thoroughly to our emails. We luckily didn't have any emergencies arise, but if one had, I'm confident that Pfr's staff would have looked after us as capably as that of any five-star hotel. We will absolutely use Paris For Rent again - and will hope to be able to visit this specific apartment again too.

"We had such good time that we will likely come back to Paris again next year and rent Mabillon again."5

Reviewed June 05, 2012

We just returned from three weeks in Mabillon apartment. As with reviewer Karen J., our entire experience from booking to check out was also first rate. We booked with Emeline who was very responsive to all our emails. Same can be said about Frederic in Paris who was also very helpful with our needs. The place was clean with necessary furnishing, appliances, utensils, and dishes. The half bathroom upstairs was especially handy when we had guests in the apt. We could not have chosen a better neighborhood - it has many restaurants, bakeries, and a fresh food market across the street. The apt does not have a/c which may be an issue for those staying in summer months. We had such good time that we will likely come back to Paris again next year and rent Mabillon again.
