Secure, clean, spacious, ideal location: the apartment exceeded our expectations5
"Dear Franck and Kimyi:
Many thanks for helping us have a great week in Paris.
My wife and I have just finished our stay in Paris in an apartment booked with Paris For Rent. As usual when you book on line there is concern that you will receive the same delivery that you see in the picture. In our case the apartment exceeded our expectations. This apartment is as secure as a building can be. Not once did I have any concern for my safety or that of my belongings. It was as clean as my house, spacious and the location was ideal, at Saint Michel, in Saint Germain. The Metro is outside our door, très bien!
The shower has great pressure and the water is so hot you needed to be careful. You could sit in the living room with these great windows open and feel like you are in a cafe below. I personally liked the street noise, even at bed time. If you do not like the noise, close the windows and voila, quiet. The dishwasher and washer dryer worked, drying is a little slow but still very good. The apartment is well equipped with plates, glasses, microwave and all the comforts of home.
The people, Franck and Kimyi, who were our contact people at Paris For Rent could not have been more helpful months before our trip and once we were in Paris. Kimyi, our greeter, showed us around the apartment and then spent time with us explaining the Metro system and providing us with directions for our first day's adventure.
My next Google search will be to see where else in the world Paris For Rent has apartments. They have earned my business by delivering on all aspects of our relationship.
Merci beaucoup."

You and your team delivered on all that you promised - and I can’t thank you enough for making our Paris adventure all that we had hoped for.
From the driver to our greeter - they both exceeded our expectations, and you need to know that their delivery of quality service was on point.

Experience Paris like a Parisian5
This was a very spacious apartment in a wonderful location in St Germain. The street, rue St Andre des Arts, is small and primarily a walking street with a dozen restaurants or take aways in each direction. The metro stop is just across the street from the nearest corner with access to all of Paris and both airports. The apartment itself is on the first floor up an easy flight of stairs and is on three levels which makes it feel even more roomy. There are only 6 or 7 steps between the levels. The apartment is relatively sparsely decorated but the bed was very comfortable, there was ample closet and drawer space and the shower was very good. There was a large screen TV as an added bonus for down time after a day of touristing. Someone from the company was there to greet us and explain everything about the apartment and would have been available by phone if we had had any problems. They also provide a nice instruction booklet with local places to eat, shop, etc. There is a combination washer-dryer that worked although the dry cycle was very long. The only drawback, for some people, might be that the bathroom is located across the kitchen area on the second level and the bedroom is on the first level. Also, there was occasional street conversation late in the evening audible in the bedroom but for us this was not a problem. The location in St Germain, the floor level, the apartment size and the proximity to the metro make this a very desirable rental.

"Great location, great apartment"5
We stayed for a week in St. Germain des arts. The apartment is as stylish as seen in the pictures. Very spacious, clean and modern.
superb location, near the Seine, Notre Dame and major Metro and RER stations. Getting to and from CDG was a breeze. All the people associated with Paris for Rent and the apartment were friendly, unfailingly helpful and reliable. They were even amused by my high-school French.
We stayed with a friend of ours -- the upstairs loft became a very good 2nd bedroom. Both sleeping areas face the street, which becomes 'lively' at night, especially on Friday and Saturday evenings.
The kitchen and bathroom were in excellent condition, and having laundry (and a drier) within the apartment was extremely useful.
Many cafes, restaurants and shops nearby. An Eric Keyser bakery and a small supermarket, both within 5 minutes walk, were patronized daily!
While the apartment is not cheap, we think it is very good value. While one bedroom, it very easily accommodates a couple + a friend or even two couples.

"Fantastic Location as a Home Base in Paris"5
This was the first time I've rented an apartment on vacation in lieu of hotels, and it was a great experience. From the airport, we were able to take the RER train to Notre Dame-St Michel station, within walking distance of the apartment. If this isn't your thing, the property manager offers a pickup at the airport for a fee (we used this on the way back to CDG, worked wonderfully).
The apartment is in a great location -- 1.5 blocks from the Seine, less than 10 minute walk to Notre Dame. The St Michel Metro station (line 4) is a few steps out the front door (you can see it directly out the apartment windows, but you need to already have metro tickets to use that entrance). Easy options for groceries, breakfast, lunch, and dinner nearby. Note that the area is popular and draws crowds all day and well into the night (well after midnight on weekends), which if you want your windows open and need quiet to sleep, may be a problem. The solution for us was to leave the windows open (my preference) and use a white noise machine (my wife's preference), and you should be fine.
The apartment itself worked great -- plenty of space to spread out as opposed to a cramped hotel room where you don't have much room to put things. We didn't cook, but everything we would have needed was there. Shower had strong water pressure. Bed was legitimate queen size. Air conditioner worked fine. Didn't try the heaters while there. Kitchen table was large, which served as a useful drop zone for us since we didn't eat in. Overall, the apartment is as it appears in the provided pcitures -- not furnished with luxury appointments, but redesigned with a contemporary scheme. No visible signs of damage or wear and tear. The tri-level setup wasn't an issue; 5-6 steps up and down, so unless you have mobility issues, should be fine. The apartment is on the US 2nd/EU 1st floor, and the staircase is spiral, but I was able to get two very large suitcases up the stairs with no problem.
Frederic, the local contact who met us when we arrived, was on time, showed us everything in the apartment we needed to know, and responded to calls and texts during the trip. Emeline in San Francisco was great on the front end, and all the arrangements were made with no problems.
With such easy access to the interior arrondissements of Paris, we were able to get to everything easily by walking or hopping on the Metro. Would definitely recommend the property to anyone looking for a great central location in Paris.
