Beyond my expectations!5

"I just wanted you to know how much we liked the apartment we rented in the Marais Village on Rue Saint-Paul. The location was perfect.
In addition, the follow-up by your Paris associates was beyond my expectations. I will certainly recommend Paris for Rent to my friends and I hope I have the opportunity to rent an apartment from you when I make my next trip to Paris."

Private and roomy for a family of 45

"The Marais Village apartment located Rue Saint-Paul was perfect for our family of four (two adults, two children of 12 and 14). The central location is very convenient for walking to many of the major sites and is a close walk to two metro stations - Saint Paul on Line 1 and Sully Morland on Line 7. Those two lines whisked us all over the city when we couldn't walk. The Marais neighborhood was absolutely wonderful. We have stayed in that area before and love it. We were in close walking distance to shopping, patisseries/boulangeries, brasseries/cafes/restaurants, grocery stores, creperies, and ice cream/gelato. Everything you could want or need is close. At 650 sq. ft., the apartment was very roomy and comfortable for us. The combined living/dining room is spacious, and the sleeper sofa folded out into a comfortable bed. Both bedrooms were also spacious. The washer/dryer in the kitchen allowed us to pack less and was easy to use although it was a little slow so give yourself some time. The WiFi worked well. The apartment is on the ground floor and inside of a courtyard. As a result, it is safe and secure and quiet. You enter the courtyard from the street through a large, secure door that requires a code for entry, Overall, the apartment is in very good condition. Upon arrival, we took the train from Charles de Gaulle Airport. It's easy to do and not very expensive, but the train was not running the entire route because of construction so it was a bit of a journey to get to the apartment, and we were delayed. Still, we were met at the apartment as soon as we arrived. When we left, we used the car service recommended by Paris for Rent to get to Orly Airport. Our flight was very early. It was very fast and easy, although more expensive than the train. Next time, might take the car service upon arrival. I will definitely use Paris for Rent again and recommend them to everyone. Very helpful and exceptionally easy to work with. We'd also stay at the apartment again and recommend it to everyone. It's a can't miss location and accommodation. Enjoy it!"

“Paris, Perfect!”5

It is with great fondness and gratitude that I emphatically recommend without hesitation the services of Paris for Rent and the Marais Village accommodation. Prior to our trip, the agents at Paris For Rent were easily accessible for questions and arrangements. Emeline in particular helped us identify a location and apartment that would suit our needs. She had great patience with our many questions as we prepared for our trip and made everything so easy. The car service from the airport was outstanding and picked us up at the exit of our terminal. Our driver spoke English and was very patient to let us purchase our Museum passes at the airport on the way out of the terminal. The local area of the Marais Village apartment is just fantastic. It is 2 short blocks from the Rue St Antoine, which provides you the choice of at least 4 wine shops, 2 fromageries, 2 fruit stands, 2 butchers, 3 patisseries/ boulangeries, Naturalia (kind of a micro-mirco-Whole foods), and of course MONOPRIX! Given our inexperience, it was great to have the Monoprix at the outset of our trip for a more American-style grocery, but by the end of our first week we were using the smaller local grocers whose products had better quality and freshness. We learned to be as polite as possible to make up for our execrable attempts at speaking Francais. (I am still dreaming of the 2 foot bough of rosemary we bought for 1 euro when can’t get a twig of it for less than $5 at home!) The central location of the property within the city is outstanding. We stayed over Christmas and had a beautiful church (Saint-Paul Saint-Louis) two blocks up the rue Saint Paul. Notre Dame was also a 10 minute walk away. This location has access to major Metro arteries (1 via Saint Paul station and 8 via Sully Morland) for the city. Even though this was our first trip to Paris we were up and running right away! It took us about 20 minutes to get to the Foundation Louis Vuitton - The Metro was amazingly user-friendly! From our apartment, we were able to walk comfortably to the Ile St Louis, Notre Dame, Rue du Rosiers (for L’As du Fallafel!!), BHV, Place des Vosges, Place de la Bastille, Hotel de Ville, the Pompadou, and the Holocaust Memorial. The accommodation was exceedingly clean and comfortable. Marais Village is a ground floor 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment located adjacent to a beautiful garden/ courtyard area fully enclosed from street traffic and noise. We slept very peacefully on blessedly comfortable and firm beds. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we like to cook! We had a blender, oven, full stove, fridge, and microwave. We were introduced to a Nespresso pod machine on this trip and loved it so much we resolved to buy one as soon as we got home! There was free wi-fi which was hugely convenient for communication to work and home. FYI: the washer/dryer combination is a standard energy/water efficient European model. It is different from US models in a big way and requires a bit of patience! I hung clothes in our bathroom and it wasn’t a problem for us. There are laundromats in the area if you prefer to do super-sized loads in less time. The day before we left, the Charlie Hebdo terrorist attack occurred. We were saddened, shocked and honestly pretty darn freaked out. Emeline helped us to arrange earlier pick up to the airport on very late notice which was a tremendous comfort to us. I can’t imagine how we would have managed without this kind of attentive service in a hotel or VRBO situation. I am so thankful we chose to rent through Paris For Rent. Though it seems to be a premium price for accommodation, we saved so much money cooking-in and not eating out for every meal. The ongoing support and assistance for was superlative. The confidence in being able to reach assistance if we needed it was one reason I chose Paris For Rent; we are so grateful that we had this help when we needed it.
