"Very Comfortable apartment and Fantastic Location!"4    

My husband and I stayed at Place Bourg for nearly two weeks and were very pleased that the apartment looked exactly the same way it does in the photos. It is the perfect size for a couple and very comfortable. The location is simply fantastic! We were less than a 10 minute walk from the Left Bank and Notre Dame Cathedral. The Louvre and the Pompidou are also a short walking distance away.Metro and bus stations are all a short walking distance as well.There are also a lot of places to shop and Rue de Rivoli is lined with a variety of great stores. If you are interested in cooking (we did on some days) or you simply want to have food to snack on while you are in the apartment, there are two nearby grocery stores, a Franprix and Monop. They have a variety of reasonably-priced food. The next time we visit Paris we will stay at this apartment again, if it's available. Patrick, our U.S. contact was very easy to work with and helpful.

"A great location in Paris"4    

After looking at hundreds of apartments on line, we settled on this lovely tree lined Place Bourg location and were not disappointed. The location is a few feet from Rue de Rivoli, about a block from the Hotel de Ville Metro and has restaurants, a bakery, a Starbucks, an ice cream shop, great nearby shopping and a week-end food/flower market --all within a few yards of the apartment. Security was excellent, with a coded entry door plus a keyed entry door prior to reaching the second floor apartment with its own separate lock. While the unit was not brand spanking new, it was highly satisfactory and is spacious when compared with many other Paris apartments. The on-line photographs accurately reflect the unit. The staff could not have been more helpful.

"Great location in Paris!"4    

We traveled to Paris with our two children (ages 8 & 11) and rented the Place Bourg apartment for a week. The location(on Rue Rivoli) is excellent, a very short walk to Notre Dame, The Louvre, Tuilieries Gardens and metro stations. We did not use the kitchen as we did not cook meals during our stay. However, we found the washing machine and drying rack very convenient so that we could wash clothing before departing for the south of France. (The apartment is advertised with a combined washer & dryer. The washing machine does have a cycle called 'dry' on it, however it is not what we're accustomed to in the US. The dry cycle is just a spin cycle, unheated.) The Place (or square) that the apartment is located on has several cafes, a tabac, a boulangerie on the corner and ice cream nearby. The apartment was clean, comfortable and, surprisingly, quiet. The square is bustling until late at night but, since the apartment is in the back of the building, we never heard any noise from the square.
