What our previous guests are saying about their stay:

"Home away from home in Paris"4

As a family with 2 adult children, we were looking for a self-contained apartment in a nice area of Paris where we could relax and live like locals for a fortnight. We were not disappointed with this apartment - the location was excellent, close to so many things we wanted to see and in a really nice and friendly neighbourhood. The local shop keepers were very friendly and welcoming, and we enjoyed the daily routine of shopping for food just as much as we enjoyed shopping for clothing! Don't miss a visit to the local Laduree for their magnificent meals and macarons! The high end retailers in this area are gorgeous.. While there is no view from the apartment, it has no street noise problems as it faces an interior courtyard. We were able to cook meals, wash our clothes and just spend time together there. The apartment had 2 totally separate bedrooms each with their own bathroom, so would be well suited to a family or 2 couples. The kitchen was modern (although we had problems with the oven) and we enjoyed being able to cook and eat at home. The dining room was delightful. The only things we were not happy with were the uncomfortable furniture in the lounge room, and the dangerous entry to the shower bath in the main bathroom, which as previous reviewers have noted is frankly dangerous and is in desperate need of safe and permanent steps and handrails before someone is injured. If you are elderly or have mobility issues you will not be able to access this shower. At times floor noise from the apartment above was noticeable. We must thank Patrick and Sabrina for making us feel so welcome at all stages of our enquiries and stay. We would have no hesitation in booking through Paris For Rent again in the future, and would recommend both this apartment and their excellent service.

"Very French, easy for americans"4

The apartment itself: Classically sited, through a leafy courtyard, one floor up from ground level. Entering the apartment's foyer, going left takes you to the living room and one bedroom and bath; going right takes you past the dining room, kitchen to the second bedroom and bath. Furnishings are nice, attractively situated. The kitchen was very workable for our purposes--light breakfasts, pre-dinner drinks/snacks. Washer, dryer and dishwasher all work fine. A delightful 2-week stay for two adult couples. The neighborhood: As a former resident of Paris, I felt very 'at home,' very 'in Paris.' A quite street, just a few blocks from blvd St.-Germain, a few blocks from the Seine, pretty much equidistant from two metro stops. The Louvre and the musée d'Orsay were easy walks. On our street were a small French-mode convenience store (épicerie), a bakery, a cheese shop and a wine shop as well as a caterer. Parisforrent: They did a fine job--met us at the airport, oriented us to the apartment's specifics and to the neighborhood. An info sheet in the apartment gave us all the tel. no. info we needed. They took us back to the airport. Restaurants on the street: Two worth checking out--reasonably priced, low tourist quotient: Le Cing-Mars and La Bonne Excuse.

"A Fabulous Week in Paris"4

My husband and two close friends spent a week in this wonderful apartment. The position is perfect for anyone who visits Paris as it is walking distance to most tourist sites. We have rented other apartments in Paris but this one was special for many reasons. It was beautifully furnished and very practical and allowed both couples to have their own space. Plenty of cupboard space for hanging clothes etc. The only small suggestion would be to somehow change the shower/bath situation in the main bathroom. My husband slipped when getting out and we were very lucky he didn't break his back. I am not sure why the bathroom was designed this way. But apart from that situation everything else went perfectly. There are lovely little gourmet shops, bakeries, markets etc within a five minute walk from our front door and also a small little wine shop within two minutes walk. We loved this apartment and would book it again anytime. The courtyard also was very pretty and very welcoming. France For Rent were also a pleasure to deal with and we would use them again when next visiting Paris.

"a subperb apartment in a fantastic location"4

we were met at the airport as arranged by paris for rent . the apartment lived up to expectations it was spacious and well appointed as per the photographs . location location location as the saying goes a real taste of the parisienne lifestyle and close to fab restuarants and shops not to mention the fresh food street markets. a truly wonderful experience . what i liked best was the apartment's style and location. what i liked least was the lack of proper lighting particularly in the bedrooms
