"A Hidden Gem Beyond any Expectation & The Best Place to Stay in"5    

I like to think of myself as a planner. When it comes to travel, especially when I'm responsible for the planning of a trip for others, the trip has to be perfect. Having contacted several vacation rental sites in Paris, I had the incredible good fortune to find the Paris For Rent website. Incredible!! This is the site you want to use. The choice of apartements was full spectrum & were fully described with excellent photos. No questions were left unanswered, as rental costs & fees were laid out clearly (no surprise "utility fees" for water or electricity). I called the listed telephone # after hours (5pm) & received a call back from Patrick within a few hours! Patrick was amazing! He spent a good deal of time working out a strategy to split the costs between my 2 friends & I, as well as contact each friend separately to answer any questions they might have. Additionally, Paris For Rent was the only site that offered to arrange pickup & dropoff from the airport to the apartment & actually recommended this service, which was very inexpensive & really lovely after a long red-eye flight. Now, the best part of the experience...the amazing apartement!!! This apartement is the true hidden gem of Paris! Bruce, the owner was on site & was the most lovely man! He gave us a complete tour of his apartement, the history of it, and gave us good solid advice about Paris and esp. Montmartre. He even had a guide that he created to help make your visit the most enjoyable. He listed everything from where to shop to how best to not exhaust yourself trying to walk up the flights of stairs with bags of groceries (Hint...take the funicular), etc. He brought the beautifully decorated (very British) apartement & apartement building to life with stories of his neighbors who we could meet during our stay. He truly made his home our home!! Having stayed in several locations in Paris prior to thie trip, hands down I could not think of staying anywhere else!
