Marais Pompidou is our newly renovated 1 bedroom apartment in central Marais, a true little gem! The decor is a well balanced blend of traditional features and modern amenities making this the perfect home for those seeking comfort and Parisian authenticity at once.

The open living/dining room is the main living space, soothing and full of charm. It has high ceilings, lime stone walls, original wooden beams, lovely natural light and just the right furnishings. There is seating for 6, a large sleeper sofa perfect for visiting guests, and a sophisticated Apple TV-Wifi-Sound system the high-tech savvy are sure to enjoy.

The kitchen corner is compact and very well designed with clever use of space and all the amenities one may need for any kind of food preparation. There is attention to details throughout and plenty of shelves, cupboards for utensils and kitchen ware. The wide counter top is perfect for dining, ideally designed for 4 but you could squeeze 6 if you had to.

The bedroom and bath are down the hall and on opposite sides. Guests will enjoy a king size bed (splittable into 2 singles), a closet for 2 and plenty additional storage on the bare mezzanine. The bathroom is phenomenal! Spacious by Parisian standards, with a sink, shower, full tub and WC.

The washer and separate dryer are located in a private and secure closet just outside the apartment front door. There is additional sleeping for 2 up on the mezzanine above the kitchen counter. The stairs to go up or down from there are tricky, extra caution is recommend.

The neighborhood around Marais Pompidou is incredibly lively, buzzing with cafes, restaurants, delis, wine & specialty food shops. Famous Paris landmarks such as the Pompidou center, Hotel de Ville & Place des Vosges square are just minutes away.

We cannot recommend this apartment enough to guests who are on extended stays in the City of Light for work or to study. Marais Pompidou is a gem and the perfect home away from home!

Amazing stay!

My family of four had an excellent time in the apartment. It is in a great location - lots to walk to and very close to a Metro Station. We didn't cook in the kitchen but loved having a clothes washer to use. Paris for Rent was very responsive to any questions and concerns. If you are looking for a quiet location or area, this might not be the spot for you - the neighborhood is very busy and you can hear the tenants above walking around. We are city people so that did not bother us. We will definitely trust Paris for Rent for our future bookings in Paris. Thank you!

Well appointed modern apartment, excellent facility, perfect for us!

"Excellent facility and perfect for us. Well appointed modern apartment. One flight of stairs made accessibility easy. Convenient neighborhood: restaurants and shops nearby. Metro was close. One suggestion: the bedroom drapes were not heavy enough to keep the room dark at night."
