Marais Gem is a one of a kind Paris vacation home secretly tucked away at the end of a cul-de-sac in one of Paris most coveted neighborhoods, the upper Marais. Your immediate surrounding is a maze of little streets filled with countless cafes, restaurants, unique shops and famous Parisian landmarks Le Carreau du Temple and Place de la Republique. Minutes from your door step, the Marché des Enfants Rouges rue de Bretagne is host to a covered market and an open food court.

From the moment you step into this beautiful Paris apartment there is an instant ‘feel at home’ energy. The space is warm and welcoming with a unique decor and colorful art work on every wall. The main level has a wide open floor plan with lounging for 6 guests, a little bar with stools for aperitifs, a dream kitchen opened to the dining area and equipped for serious cooking and catering.

The 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are upstairs and ideally designed to accommodate 6 guests on 2 queen beds and 2 singles. Each bedroom is luminous with plenty of storage space and large french windows that open up to the outside. This upper level combined with the welcoming downstairs give the entire place a true townhouse feel that few Paris vacation rentals can offer.

There is an additional level accessible from the dining/entry area with carpeted stairs leading down to a TV lounge with a sofa. This little nook is ideal for teenagers or guests who want to enjoy movie time privately.

Marais Gem is just that, a gem in the most fun part of Paris, an immersion into buzzing Parisian life with immediate access to famous landmarks and walking distance to the touristic center.

My five friends and I rented Marais Gem this year. We have nothing but praise for how everything went. From the airport pick-up, our greeter from the Paris Support Team, Gina our tour guide of the Marais, the drivers who took us to our tours. Everything was spot on. We have much gratitude for all their hard work - working with six 75-year olds!!

Excellent location and very well equipped

"Excellent location and very well equipped. We walked almost everywhere and the Metro is easily accessed a short walk from the apartment as well. Many nice cafes and a grocery store nearby.
The service from Paris For Rent was excellent as well. Only complaint is the lighting in the bedrooms - really could use brighter lamps next to the beds. "

Nicely set up for 3 couples: Our stay at Marais Gem was wonderful

"Our stay at Marais Gem was wonderful. The house is in a dead-end street which is very quiet. Yet just down the street are the many cafes, shops and grocery stores. Two metros are within a 3-5 minute walk. The house was set up nicely for 3 couples. Very pleased with the accommodations and security."

The lounge/dining and kitchen area is wide open and designed for 6 guests. Fully equipped kitchen, bar counter w/ stools, bistro table for 2 and couch seating for 4.
This level has a guest half bath w/ sink and WC.

Bed and Bath

The 3 bedrooms and 2 baths are on the upper level. They are designed to accommodate 6 guests, on 2 queen beds and 2 singles.
The main bathroom has a sink, shower over tub, WC and separate washer/dryer. The other bath has minimal space with small sink and shower.

The Marais is one of the most ancient and picturesque parts of Paris, characterized by its unique 17th century buildings and elegant stores and restaurants. For visitors who wish to explore Paris on foot, this is an excellent point from which to do so, for the marvellous Marais district includes the Place des Vosges, Picasso Museum, Carnavalet Museum, Hotel de Ville and of course the Louvre Museum.
