St Germain Université is the quintessential Paris home located in the best part of St Germain 6th just minutes from the famous Cafe de Flore! This brand new apartment is on a narrow street in a classic St Germain building with old charm and carved limestone walls. A majestic gate leads from the street to a large private courtyard that some residents use for parking. Past the gate inside the courtyard the access to the apartment is private and through a metal door.

The entrance into the apartment is a private utility room where guests can leave shoes and hang coats at the foot of a narrow spiral staircase, the living areas are up one flight.

At the top of the stairs a bright and spacious living room/dining room surrounds a glass-enclosed island fully equipped modern kitchen. The living area has a couch, lounge chair, and additional seating to accommodate up to 6 guests around the lovely coffee table. The dining room table is in a light filled corner by one of large French windows overlooking the street - It can sit 4 people comfortably.

The bedrooms and bath are down the long side hallway which is lined with closet space for storage and includes a neatly tucked out of sight washing machine. The first bedroom faces the courtyard and is equipped with two single beds which can combine into a queen - It has a desk and chair for studies, a flat screen TV and ample storage. The second bedroom is at the end of the hallway and offers a queen size bed, storage space, and a window over the courtyard. The bathroom is adjacent to this second bedroom and offers a wide sink in front of a large mirror, storage below the sink, a modern shower, and toilet.

Our St Germain Université apartment was entirely renovated in 2019, offering a fresh and modern feel, with an effective use of space. It features quintessential Parisian charm with wooden beam ceilings painted white, exposed stone, and hardwood floors. It is a perfect Paris home to accommodate professionals on a Paris business trip, students on an exchange program, or couples and families traveling to Paris for an extended stay - The apartment is a true haven, bright and fresh, quiet and central, quaint and modern … it brings the best of postcard-Paris with modern traveler's expectations.

The living / dining area has a wide open floor plan offering comfortable lounge seating for 4. The dining table is tuck in a bright corner by one of the large French windows and entry stair case. The kitchen is island-style and enclosed in glass windows looking out onto the living area. It is fully equipped with modern appliances, stovetop, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, toaster and Nespresso machine. A washer for laundry is located in one of the hallway closets.

The 2 bedrooms and bath are down the hallway on the side of the living room. The first and largest bedroom has 2 single beds which can combine into a queen, marble bedside tables, a study desk and chair, a flat screen TV and plenty of closet space. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, wooden bedside tables, a marble shelf and a double door closet. Both bedrooms overlook the private courtyard. Adjacent to the second bedroom is a full bathroom with a sink, modern shower, WC, and shelf for toiletries.

Saint-Germain des Prés is located in the center of the famous Left Bank ("Rive Gauche") triangle: Latin Quarter, the Invalides and Montparnasse. Once the hangout for bohemians and intellectuals, this neighborhood has undergone gentrification and is newly chic. Upscale boutiques, art galleries, theatres, well-known restaurants, museums and monuments can be found throughout this district.
