Upscale 1-BR Apartment near Champs Elysees

‘Havre de Paix’ is French for ‘Peaceful Haven’, and it’s the perfect way to describe our Lauriston Paris home!
The apartment is located on a quiet and residential street, in a chic Parisian building with very close proximity to Place Victor Hugo, the Arc de Triomphe monument, and the Trocadero/Eiffel tower areas. For convenience, there is a mini grocery store right across the street, and several cafes on the nearest corner.

The home is airy and cozy with a serene atmosphere. Natural light comes in through large windows with step-on balconies. The decor is clean, with comfortable furniture throughout. Guests will enjoy a spacious master bedroom with a king-size bed, abundant closet space, and an en-suite shower/bath room.

The full-equipped French-size kitchen is adorable and perfect for 'home-style' cooking. For the foodie’s delight there are countless places all around to eat and dine—casual, fancy, classic French, local or ethnic…take your pick.

Enjoy monumental Paris at your doorstep! A 3-minute walk up the street to the Arc de Triomphe roundabout offers a 180-degree view over the majestic Champs-Elysees, and a 10-minute walk to the Trocadero esplanade has one of the best Eiffel tower views in all of Paris. If you’re a contemporary art lover, the Palais de Tokyo and the neighboring Museum of Modern Art in the Trocadero should not be missed.

Lauriston is a calm and soothing Paris home with immediate access to bus and metro lines. We recommend it most to couples, professionals, writers & dreamers, on a mission in the City of Light!

"We enjoyed our month's stay at the Lauriston apartment. It was exactly how it was presented online. The service check-in and check-out was great. Julie went over everything and also responded quickly when we requested more linens.
Finally, I would add that the bed is terrific. It is a true king size bed and very comfortable. It was perfect after a long day of exploring and enjoying Paris. I would give this property 4.5 stars. It completely met our needs!"

Great location, well equipped for a comfortable stay in central Paris

"Great location, well equipped for a comfortable stay in central Paris. The check-in process was easy and there were no problems during our stay or with check-out. The building is old but in good shape, the only minor irritation is the creaky floors but those are expected in an authentic Parisian home from many years ago. We would stay there again! "

We loved the large room, the day light, the large windows to the street, the high ceilings

"The apartment in the 16th arr. is everything and more of what the photos at Paris For Rent indicated. We loved the large room, the daylight, the large windows to the street, the high ceilings, a very comfortable bed. Having a washer/dryer saved us time . I loved the window in the kitchen that faced the court yard. We very much appreciated the respect of the old architecture.

I was not expecting a kitchen so well equipped and with very welcoming details such as sea salt from the Mediterranean, vinegar and mustard from Dijon, sugar cubes, etc Very much appreciated!

Oh, but the library was special. I read MERDE and John read 3 novels of Cara Black ! A guide book to the neighborhood was also helpful We mobilized on bus # 22 and 82 and walked to shopping which was very pleasant.

I loved France! I want to return for longer time and will contact Paris For Rent again. Thank you so much. "

The living area offers dining by the window and comfortable lounging for 5, with a brand new TV/bookshelf media center. The small French style cuisine is fully equipped with oven, stove top, sink, dishwasher, and Nespresso machine.
The washer/dryer combo is located under the microwave.

Bed and Bath

The large master bedroom has a king-size bed and ample storage space. The bathroom is en-suite with sink, shower over tub and an electric WC. A top brand sofa bed in the living area provides additional sleeping for 2 guests.
The detached WC with washbasin is located off the entry way.
